Wide-ranging Wabbit World Domination?

More about WildBrain’s Global Partnership and Their Adorable Animated Ambitions

In the animation kingdom, it seems like we’re going to relive the year of the rabbit. WildBrain is spreading the bunny love around the globe with their recent international distribution deals for Brave Bunnies, the series that is, ironically, brave enough to infiltrate the screens of preschoolers worldwide. Not only are they back with their bunny buddies from Glowberry, Anima Kitchent, and KidsMe for a second season, but they are also working their fluffy tails off to distribute this series globally.

My hot take? Someone tell the Easter Bunny he’s got competition. Though it’s unclear whether this will launch the bunny-equivalent of a Marvel franchise, we might want to prep for an adorable bunny takeover. Assuming the international community is ready for an onslaught of animated rabbits, Brave Bunnies could soon find its way hopping into every child’s (and let’s be honest, probably a few adults’) favorite animation list. I, for one, am all ears and eager to see what part this unexpected hare-raising event will play in the cartooniverse. In the meantime, let’s just enjoy the fluff.

WildBrain secures an array of international distribution deals for the much-loved preschool animation series, Brave Bunnies. This announcement comes in the wake of a fresh second season release from the hit series producers – WildBrain, Glowberry, Anima Kitchent, and KidsMe – following their global collaboration news last year.

In this unique partnership, WildBrain takes care of worldwide distribution of the series, with Glowberry managing distribution in Ukraine, KidsMe in Italy, and Anima Kitchent in Spain. WildBrain’s premier agency, WildBrain CPLG, oversees licensing and merchandising globally, except for Ukraine (handled by Glowberry) and Italy (handled by KidsMe).

The show’s inquisitive and adventurous bunny siblings, Boo and Bop, continue to trot around the globe, securing new distribution deals with TeleTOON+ (Canal+ Poland), Channel 5’s preschool block, Milkshake! (UK), and Rai Yoyo (Italy). Additionally, season one has been newly recruited by CNC Media International (South Korea) and Stan (Australia). It is also accessible on the WildBrain+ SVOD channel on Comcast in the US. These global deals highlight the wide appeal of the brand, which has already been recognized by platforms in more than 80 nations spanning LatAm, Canada, the UK, Europe, Nordics, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. YouTube remains a favorite platform for Brave Bunnies followers, with steady weekly content uploads on the official Brave Bunnies YouTube channel.

The increasing demand for Brave Bunnies from broadcasters and streamers globally stands testimony to its engaging content filled with infectious tunes, endearing characters, and thrilling adventures. Not only does it captivate kids but also promotes curiosity, creativity, acceptance, and openness, encouraging them to explore commonalities with new friends and appreciate their unique attributes.

-Caroline Tyre (VP Global Sales and Rights Strategy, WildBrain)

Through Brave Bunnies, I aimed to craft a series that would inspire kids to explore and appreciate the diverse world around them. It’s delightful to see children across the globe resonating well with these crucial values portrayed by the show’s lovable characters and their adventures.

-Olga Cherepanova (Glowberry co-founder and series Creative Producer)

Designed for kids aged 2-5, Brave Bunnies (104 X seven-minute total runtime) trails the adventures of Boo and her older brother, Bop, as they tour the world with their parents in their Bunny Bus. The much-anticipated second season, produced by WildBrain’s Vancouver animation studio and Anima Kitchent’s studio in the Canary Islands, features the Brave Bunnies’ continued globe-trotting journey, filled with new fun adventures and surprises for young viewers.
