A Cheesy, Crackin’ Comeback!

‘Vengeance Most Fowl’ – More Than Just A Gouda Story

Transcending Claymation: Wallace & Gromit 2.0

Cheese and crackers, brace yourselves! Our favourite clay-animated inventor and his genius pooch are back to tackle some fresh mischief this holiday season. The Netflix teaser for Wallace & Gromit’s ‘Vengeance Most Fowl’ is certain to make you pong for excitement. That sinisterly quiet, been-there-done-that penguin villain, Feathers McGraw, is returning for yet another round of dastardly plots and schemes. He’s been exuding those cool-as-an-iceberg vibes since he waddled into the limelight in 1993, and we’re flipping like fish for the rematch! Fasten up your ‘techno-trousers’, folks, it’s going to be a wild, Wensleydale-filled ride. Who knew clay could pack such a true-crime punch, eh?

Get a sneak peek at the upcoming BBC/Aardman stop-motion festive feature, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, with a new teaser trailer from Netflix.

Our favourite inventor and his loyal canine sidekick are at it again, facing off against their archenemy, Feathers McGraw, who was first introduced in the critically-acclaimed 1993 film, The Wrong Trousers. Get an early look at Feathers McGraw’s return in the first glance teaser and teaser trailer we released earlier this year.

As Gromit worries about Wallace’s growing reliance on his inventions, one in particular – a ‘smart’ gnome – seems to take on a life of its own. With a vengeful figure from their past potentially pulling the strings, can Gromit save his master from pending disaster or will Wallace’s inventing days be over?

Wallace & Gromit creator Nick Park and co-director Merlin Crossingham bring you this 70-minute feature, premiering on the BBC/BBC iPlayer this Christmas before going global on Netflix. This marks the duo’s first full-length film since 2005’s Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

For about ten years, I’ve been toying with the concept of a film about garden gnomes gone rogue, but the ‘why’ always troubled me. Then I found the answer. Fans kept asking if Feathers, the infamous penguin villain from The Wrong Trousers, would make a comeback. And three decades later, we thought it was high time he did. That’s when the idea hit – Feathers and the gnomes were a perfect match. We’re betting that fans of ‘Gnome Noir’ won’t be disappointed with Feathers’ new escapades since The Wrong Trousers.

-Nick Park (Creator of Wallace and Gromit and Director of Vengeance Most Fowl)

The cast includes Ben Whitehead as Wallace (replacing the original actor, Peter Sallis, who passed in 2017) with Peter Kay returning as Chief Inspector Mackintosh. The voice cast also features talents such as Lauren Patel (Lloyd of the Flies), Reece Shearsmith (Inside No. 9), Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, and Lenny Henry.

Get ready for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, premiering this Christmas on BBC in the UK and globally on Netflix on January 3rd.
