The CG-animated series, co-produced by Tiger Aspect Kids & Family, Jollywise, and Xentrix Studios, is a Banijay Kids & Family Distribution product. It follows young nature enthusiast Stan Breakwater and his vibrant Gran as they unravel the mysteries of their fictitious British coastal village, Porthole. Stan & Gran marries comedy with a dose of intrigue and educational content, promoting exploration, discovery, nature, science, and strong family ties. Alison Steadman, known for her roles in Life Is Sweet, Secrets And Lies, Here we Go, and Gavin & Stacey, will add an element of fun as Grumblestunk, the mischievous shopkeeper. She’ll be joined by Charlie Oscar and Julie-Ann Dean, who will voice the investigative duo, Stan and Gran.
I’m passionate about wildlife, and Stan & Gran struck a chord with me, with its lovable characters and focus on nature. Playing Grumblestunk is an absolute joy; her eccentricities add a fun twist to the show!
