CEE Animation Forum Set to Start in Pilsen
– The CEE Animation Forum is about to begin again in Pilsen, Czech Republic, on Tuesday, November 12.
– The two-day event is a prominent hub for discussing, showcasing, and revamping the animation industry in Europe.
– The forum features three main activities: a Pitching Competition, networking opportunities, and co-production events.
– This event is reputable for exploring creativity and connecting key players in the animation film industry.
Pilsen: The Animated City
– Pilsen, the Czech Republic regains its title as the animation capital as it sets to host the CEE Animation Forum.
– The city will become a bustling hub for professionals in the animation film industry for two consecutive days.
– With a showcase of creativity and a thriving market for co-production, invested parties are all eyes and ears for the next big animation idea.
Ready, Steady, Pitch: The Grand Animation Showdown
– The Pitching Competition remains the highlight of the event. It’s like “Shark Tank” but for animation pitches.
– The competition poses an excellent opportunity to present animation projects to industry professionals.
– The winner will likely gain a flurry of investment, collaboration, and exposure opportunities.
In my “hot take,” the CEE Animation Forum is the equivalent of the Super Bowl for animation geeks. Pilsen is set to become the animation coliseum where ideas battle it out for supremacy, professionals make alliances in the industry’s “Game of Thrones,” and punchy pitches are flung around like projectiles in a spectacularly animated “food fight”. Imagine the thrill, the drama, the suspense, and the occasional mystery of the lost coffee cup. If there is an Oscar for animation events, the CEE Animation Forum could be a very serious contender, folks!
The CEE Animation Forum, Europe’s premier event for pitching, financing, and co-production in the animation industry, starts Tuesday, November 12. Pilsen in the Czech Republic will be the hub of animated cinema creativity for two days with activities such as Pitching Contest, Market, and One-on-One Meetings.
The growing list of almost 200 attendees includes global industry professionals from different fields, ranging from producers, directors, broadcasters and sales agents to festival representatives and educators. Embodying the spirit of innovative collaboration, the CEE Animation Forum witness a surge in application numbers and diversity among participants this year. The focus remains on international co-productions and creative alliances. We can’t wait to see the projects that emerge from this edition.
