Hot Take:
Watch out Pixar, because there are about to be some new “Incredibles” around here! The Collision Awards is turning the spotlight onto animation, a field that often seems to be doing the “Running Man” in the shadow of its live-action counterparts, but not for much longer! It’s a Disney-sized opportunity for animators and designers from every nook and cranny of the globe to showcase their talent and not just “Let It Go”. So if you’re dreaming of becoming the next Hayao Miyazaki or just want to beat the “Minions” at their own game, now’s your chance to “Zootopia” your way to glory! Bring on the “Collisions” —and may the best “Toy Story” win!

Recognizing the abundance of extraordinary work specifically in animation, there was a critical need for this to be acknowledged, inspiring the creation of The Collision Awards.

Factors include creativity and technical skills unique to the animation and motion design community. Prestigious winners from the previous year include Pixar Animation Studios, The Daily Show, Bloomberg Media, Sony Pictures Animation, Crunchyroll, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Netflix and Buck.
