Announcing a groundbreaking agreement, the internationally acclaimed French animation company Dandelooo has signed a deal for the preschool series Exploring With Pol The Pirate Mouse (13 x7’).
Since her move from the city, Pol’s life has taken an exciting new turn. Living in her new forest home, she’s surrounded by breathtaking discoveries. As the captain of her pirate crew, Pol, bedecked with an eyepatch, is all set to search for treasures. Even though her unique crew comprises varied species, their differences make them an exceptional team. Though they may not always find a treasure, they always gain a new understanding of themselves and their world with each exciting adventure.
This exciting alliance with Dutch production giant Submarine provides Dandelooo with exclusive worldwide distribution rights for the 3D animation series targeted at children aged 3-6 years old. Exploring With Pol The Pirate Mouse, scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2025, will be available as a 13 x 7-minute series and a 25-minute TV special introducing an entirely new tale.
The series draws from a 2019 picture book by Tingue Dongelmans and Denise van Leeuwen. It elaborately narrates Pol’s journey from being a city mouse to a forest dweller- the most thrilling playground for humans and mouses alike! The storyline encourages young minds to explore their imagination while subtly addressing the pirate theme.
