Uniting Europe: A Growing Animation Network

Welcome to our new members from Austria (ASIFA Austria), Latvia (LAA), Croatia (HRUP), Hungary (APA), Slovakia (APAF) and Armenia (AAA). This growth underscores the federation’s commitment to unify the voice of European animation producers and extend its reach. The roles within the new Board will be officially assigned during the first Board meeting in late June or early July.

“After less than a decade, we have successfully brought together 27 countries and 30 associations within the EU. We are now a key participant in discussions with the European Commission on vital topics. ” expresses Philippe Alessandri, Chairman of Animation in Europe.

Throughout the year, Animation in Europe conducts workshops, inviting professionals from across Europe to engage in collaborative problem solving and ideation tackling critical industry issues like sustainability, media regulation, novel business models, and artificial intelligence.
