Today, Netflix revealed the release of an all-new original adult animation comedy, Alley Cats, masterminded by the globally celebrated Ricky Gervais of After Life, Extras and The Office fame, set to premiere in 2026.

The award-winning Ricky Gervais takes the helm in Alley Cats, a hilariously innovative show about a gang of wild UK-based cats, presenting their lives and thoughts in a captivating, comedic fashion. The show is rife with Gervais’ distinctive, heartfelt, and social commentary-laced humour that fans all over the globe love and anticipate.

In this tightly-knit 6-episode series, Ricky Gervais leads a stellar cast including Tom Basden, Andrew Brooke, David Earl, Kerry Godliman, Jo Hartley, Diane Morgan, Natalie Cassidy, and Tony Way.

Alley Cats takes you through the engaging life stories of a band of British feral cats who seek camaraderie while reflecting on life’s challenges.
