Announcing the launch of the groundbreaking Bursary Scheme at this year’s Children’s Media Conference (CMC), a transformative initiative to empower youth from underprivileged backgrounds to step into the children’s industry.
As expressed by Greg Childs: “Through online registration during lockdown, we were capable of opening CMC’s doors to a group of young individuals who were previously unable to participate in such an industry event. As we step back into the physical landscape in Sheffield, we desire to maintain this support. However, travel and accommodation expenses have hindered this pursuit. With this in mind, driven by the proposition of the CMC Advisory Committee, we embarked on raising specialized funds for a CMC Bursary Scheme”.
