Our much-anticipated line-up introduces new programmes such as Fantastical Worlds and East Asian Panorama — a celebration of the rising stars from Japan, China, and other Asian countries. Paying homage to the next generation and affirmative themes, the festival presents an exclusive LGBTQ+ programme and an Augmented Reality exhibition themed around ‘Heroes’. The festival ensures full accessibility with subtitled films and BSL interpreters at every screening event.

  • Dominic Minns – The BAFTA-winning Co-Founder and Creative Director of Brighton Zoo is renowned for his work in children’s television, having produced hit shows like Mojo Swaptops and the acclaimed Tee and Mo series.
  • Izzy Burton – Award-winning director and artist beloved for her work with Netflix Animation, Aardman, Cartoon Network, Golden Wolf among others. She was named one of Animation Magazine’s “Rising Stars of Animation” in 2018.
  • Comfort Arthur – British-born Ghanaian animator, illustrator and visual artist, Comfort is the first Ghanaian animator to win the African Academy Movie awards for her groundbreaking web series.
