Folivari International, the renowned French animation distributor, has excitedly declared their acquisition of the international rights for The Baker Street Four (12 x 26’). This animated series is a collaborative production of Folivari and Blue Spirit, with the backing of French broadcaster Canal+. In addition, they’ve secured the international rights for Guitar and Drum, jointly created by Hype Animation and Punkrobot.

Presenting a premium tween animation series, The Baker Street Four, an offshoot of the Sherlock Holmes saga. This series is drawn from ten French comic books, “Les Quatre de Baker Street,” authored by Jean-Blaise Djian and Olivier Legrand and graphically brought to life by David Etien. The foundation is built around original characters from Arthur Conan-Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes tales, featuring a band of street-smart kids, principally Wiggins, who function as grass-roots sleuths for Holmes.

Designed for kids aged 3-6, Guitar and Drum is a vivid animated series that narrates the tale of two musical instruments turned best buds. Living in a small town populated with other musical instruments, they encounter daily adventures that underscore diversity. Guitar and Drum is all about celebrating our unique differences, and how these differences empower us to create a brighter future.
This acquisition was made possible following the inception of Folivari International earlier this year, with former Dandelooo leader Melissa Vega at the helm of its distribution arm. Vega co-founded Folivari International along with the Folivari leadership team comprised of Damien Brunner, Thibaut Ruby, and Sarah Delmas.
Ever since its launch, Folivari International has obtained four series including The Baker Street Four and Guitar and Drum, complemented by Folivari originals Nino Dino and Kiki & Ailen. The distributor is consistently diversifying its offerings with acquisition of robust animated content with substantial global appeal.
