Yes, you heard it right! “Heidi – Rescue of the Lynx” is on the town and it looks like a cat-tivating story is on its way from Studio 100 International.

Restoring Retro – The Heidi Way

Much like an over-zealous storm chaser, Studio 100 International unveiled the first teaser of the movie in the scenically un-Alps-y backdrop of Las Vegas. This feline-friendly frolic is a tri-branded labour of love from multinational animation maestros Studio 100 International, 3 Doubles Producciones, and Hotel Hungaria.

Brace yourselves for a Swiss adventure brought to you in dazzlingly modern 3D that will make you miss the lush green Alps (or remind you why you’ve been postponing your trip). Here’s hoping there’s plenty of cheesy goodness aside the Lynx-eye candy!

Studio 100 International unveils the highly anticipated first-trailer for its latest animation, Heidi – Rescue of the Lynx. Catch the exclusive trailer showcase by Studio 100 Film at the prestigious American Film Market (AFM) hosted in Las Vegas.

A joint venture between Studio 100 International, 3 Doubles Producciones, and Hotel Hungaria Animation in collaboration with Studio Isar Animation brought the film to life. Distinguished Director Tobias Schwarz, credited for classics such as Tarzan II, Anastasia, Maya and the Golden Orb, and The Queen’s Corgi, steers the helm, with Rob Sprackling (Gnomeo & Juliet, The Queen’s Corgi) penning the screenplay. LEONINE and Studio 100 International will join forces to get the film onto big screens across Germany by early summer 2025.

Heidi – Rescue of the Lynx transcends beyond the familiar narrative, choosing to embark on an avant-garde adventure that still adheres to Heidi’s core principles while aligning with contemporary tastes.
