Hot Take:
I always say, grab your popcorn and cola because the world of animation never stops rolling out action. If Hollywood gives us the Oscars, then allow me the pleasure to introduce you to its quirky, lively cousin – the ANIMARKT Stop Motion Forum. Do you have a creative pulse and a knack for stop motion? Say no more, this is the Cinderella Ball for animation enthusiasts where you aren’t just a passive consumer but the engine of fantastic worlds!

Getting an opportunity to rub ink-stained elbows with industry mavens isn’t something you stumble upon in your Saturday morning cartoons. It’s a real Kenny ‘the Shark’ opportunity (and you don’t even need to deal with any sharp teeth). With the high stakes game in international animation, don’t miss out, your art could be the next ‘Toy Story’ out there. You can still apply and mark your name in the annals of history alongside Gumby and Wallace & Gromit!

So kids, roll up your sleeves, pluck out your storyboards, and get ready to animate some life into your dreams! It’s time to stop ‘motioning’ towards your aspirations and start making them a reality. Who knows where your next pencil sketch can transport you? Now, that’s what I call a ‘draw-dropping’ opportunity!

A highlight of ANIMARKT STOP MOTION FORUM which is set to take place from 13-17 October 2024 in Lodz, Poland is the BUSINESS segment. This segment facilitates networking and contact sharing among stop motion animation aficionados. Crucial to this segment are the CAREER DAYS, where aspiring creators can showcase their talent through 15-minute sessions with the finest animation studios worldwide, possibly leading to future collaborations.

Stop motion animation projects need people with specified skills, like animation armature construction. Creators nurture their skills over years, and Career Days are the perfect platform for them to demonstrate their capabilities and get on the radar of specific studios.

Shares Paulina Zacharek, president of MOMAKIN and co-organizer of the Forum.
