Join us for a unique matinée experience, brought to you by KINOTEKA, designed especially for families and young viewers. Experience some of the most memorable Polish, French and British short animated features at Ciné Lumière, complemented by live music from celebrated jazz artists from Wrocław. The melodies will convey various narratives, mixing cinematic stories with spontaneous musical journeys, thereby immersing youngsters into the world of jazz.

Autumn with Reksio

Bolek and Lolek: Beachside Adventure
Directed by R. Lepiora, Poland, 1978, 8 mins

Follow the seaside vacation of Bolek, Lolek, and Tola as they each set out on a separate journey due to a disagreement on travel means.

The musical accompaniment will be provided by the Kuba Lechki/Łukasz Ciesiołkiewicz Duo: Kuba Lechki (drums, electronics) and Łukasz Ciesiołkiewicz (vibraphone, electronics)

Post-screening, children can interact with the musicians and explore their instruments.
